PR 19
Engine: Griffon 66
Wing: D
Cameras: Fuselage and wing-blister cameras
Notes: The only Griffon-powered PR variant. The wing leading-edge tanks were enlarged by 20 gallons giving a total of 256 gallons. An additional drop-tank of 90 or 170 gallons could also be carried. All but the first 22 (or 25 according to Dr. A Price) had pressurised cabins. Its high speed and service ceiling of over 40,000 feet meant that the PR 19 could elude even the jet-engined Me 262.
